Selling is absolutely free of charge for you on Seclux. Security: Member checks by Seclux: To be able to guarantee the authenticity and quality of the second hand designer products in the Seclux Marketplace, a member identity check is carried out when a member advertises their first product. After you have placed your advert you will receive an email from Seclux prompting you to prove your identity with a photo ID (passport, driving licence, ID etc.). Only after that will your advert be published by Seclux. This guarantees the authenticity of the products and the identity of the members, in particularly for international members, without major costs for sending the second hand articles to Seclux to prove the authenticity of the product. Advert checks: Seclux checks every advert thoroughly before it is published and if necessary asks the seller questions or requests them to upload more pictures of the product (the subjects of which are specified by Seclux). In the case of any uncertainty the advert is rejected, or the member is requested to send the product to Seclux to be checked. Ratings, PayPal & Concierge Service: We attach the greatest importance to security for both buyers and sellers when trading on the Seclux Marketplace. Therefore member ratings and the secure payment method od payPal serve alongside the identity and advert checks as a control to check the quality, condition and authenticity of the products and offer protection from fakes, faulty articles, bad descriptions and unreliable sellers. Additionally the Seclux Second Hand Luxury Concierge Service offers the ability to conduct an authenticity check of a product by sending it to Seclux (with prior agreement) and to then receive a seal of approval. The pre-owned luxury goods sent to us are photographed, described and placed in the Marketplace. If the product is sold successfully, Seclux will transfer 80% of the sale revenue to you. Exclusive luxury brands from top international designers in the Seclux Marketplace Using this advertising portal, companies as well as private persons can place adverts offering new and pre-owned designer clothing, later then future property, cars, antiques, jewelry and watches. Dealers can display their products on a search engine optimised, DIY homepage with integrated Dealer Shop and sell their products online. At the same time a link to the Dealer shop is placed in the City Guide and the Marketplace so that companies can also showcase themselves and their products internationally. Our motto is luxury but affordable. The integration means that international online searching is connected with local and international shopping and marketing on one website. The most important content of this shopping portal has been translated professionally into English and German and can be translated into all Google languages. Virtual shopping and trading becomes a shopping experience thanks to social media applications, as people swap shopping tips with their friends or can talk about the colour of their new shoes together. There is also a rating system which allows both sides to rate the process after the purchase. Furthermore Seclux carries out a quality control test before an advert is published. Users can additionally comment on the products and ask the seller questions about the product.

01 POP TART 1 year 6 mo F English Bulldog Urgent Part 2 Death Row NYC ACC 10-25-14.jpg
<3 <3 Young English bulldog named Pop Tart: Last hours for perfectly adoptable dog. Check out Pop Tart's adorable face. Only a year-and-a-half old, and this little sweet dog is on New York City's Animal Care and Control's euthanasia list beginning at 12:00 noon on Friday. Why? Pop Tart came into the Manhattan facility on October 19; she had been picked up as a stray weighing only 40 pounds. Her medical records reflect she is 10 to 15 pounds underweight and now has an upper respiratory infection. Here is what a volunteer had to report about this wonderful young dog: "She has gorgeous button eyes and makes the most elegant snorting sounds that are music to my ears. I love her coat; cow print and so silky to the touch. She seems to be house trained and "goes" as soon as we reach the yard. She walks beautifully on the leash, calmly, sits for treats that she loves and is the most wonderful lap dog dispensing "slobby" kisses by the million. She is curious of other dogs  big and small, wagging low her skinny tail. In playgroups, she just behaves like a well brought up doggie." Click here for Pop Tart's Facebook page as volunteers share her story  A fund pledging donations for a qualified and approved rescue organization can also be found on the page. More information can be found by clicking here.  Pop Tart's behavior evaluation was quite perfect: "Pop Tart did not show any concern during the behavior assessment. The behavior department feels that she can go to an average home."  TO ADOPT THIS ANIMAL THROUGH THE PUBLIC ADOPTION SITE, PLEASE GO TO THE FOLLOWING LINK AND SCROLL DOWN TO BOTTOM TO LOG IN AND RESERVE THE ANIMAL. THERE WILL BE A $50 DEPOSIT REQUIRED. http://www.nycacc.org/PublicAtRisk.htm  For more information on adopting from the NYC AC&C, or to find a rescue to assist, please read the following: http://urgentpetsondeathrow.org/must-read/ You can call 1-(212) 788-4000 for automated instructions. Allowed ot be scanned, collare,d and leashed without issue. 09/24/2014 WEB MEMO A Volunteer writes: Wow! Woah! Wowza! Pick your favorite term to express amazement and apply it to this incredible dog who takes all of our collective breaths away with his wonder. Luis has a personality that's impossible to beat: the calm of a Zen Master combined with a hilarious sense of humor. He is so eager to please he picks up commands in about 30 seconds, and already knows "hi five!" and "sit." (think about the fun of having a dog who comes knowing "hi five." It really is hours of enjoyment.) He is a dream to walk on a leash, seems to adore (adore!!!!) other dogs and be house trained, and is one of the best kissers ever. Luis is gorgeous, elegant, kind, gentlemanly to all he meets, and infectiously mellow. I wish that I could have Luis by my side at all times. I am so happy that someone will have that chance, and give him a chance as well. What a magnificent creature--please race to meet him! Another volunteer writes: Walking through the shelter is like walking with a celebrity - the number of call outs of "hey, Luis", is enough to make me stand a little taller and straighten my clothes to be worthy of my magnificent friendly partner. He's so stunning in his well groomed gray coat, his eyes match his coat, his tail wags constantly, his leash manners are excellent, he takes treats gently and knows 'sit' and 'high five'!!! Beauty and brains - what a combination! He seems to love other dogs, making friends with an elderbull we met in the park, and then calmly sitting by my side as I talked to a staff member. No puppy crazies here. He's fun and friendly, affectionate but undemanding. The assessor who evaluated him greeted him with a hug as we came back into the building and told me what an awesome dog he thinks Luis is. I couldn't agree more. If you're still reading this you're missing the opportunity to meet and adopt a great dog. Go meet him today. 09/21/2014 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION - AVERAGE Exam Type BEHAVIOR Luis walks nicely on leash and may be housetrained - toileted immediately once outside. He approached the assessor with a soft body and wagging tail and then proceeded to lean into the assessor and lick the assessor's hand. When approaching passersby, Luis jumped up and licked their faces. Luis maintained soft body language throughout the handling items of the assessment. He remained calm and relaxed ruing the food bowl test; and he allowed the assessor to take the food bowl away. Luis readily gave the toy back to the assessor and held onto the rawhide with soft body language. He approached the helper dog with forward, but soft body language during the dog-to-dog interaction. Luis has displayed no concerning behaviors while at the care center. The behavior department feels that he can go to an average home. Look: 1 Dog leans forward or jumps up to lick the Assessor's face with tail wagging, ears back and eyes averted. Sensitivity: 1 Dog stands still and accepts the touch, his eyes are averted, and his tail is in neutral position with relaxed body posture. Dog's mouth is likely closed for at least a portion of the assessment item. Tag: 1 Dog assumes play position and joins the game. Or dog indicates play with huffing, soft 'popping' of the body, etc. Dog might jump on Assessor once play begins. Squeeze 1: 1 Dog gently pulls back his paw. Squeeze 2: 1 Dog gently pulls back his paw. Food: 1 Dog calmly allows the food to be moved, follows the dish, but does not interfere with the dish's movement. Dog's body is soft and loose, eyes soft, tail neutral. He lifts his head when hand is pushed against his cheek. Toy: 1 Dog settles down close to chew, will relinquish toy to you. Rawhide: 1 Dog settles close, keeps a firm grip and is loose and wiggly. He does not place his body between you and the rawhide. Dog-to-dog: 2 Dog approaches the helper dog, body soft, tail well above spine level, ears forward. No 08/27/2014 WEB MEMO A volunteer writes: Cute Bulldog-ish features, perfect markings and a smile wide enough to light up a whole house full of rooms - Pres Snow wins my vote on good looks alone! But he's not just another pretty face and behind those laughing eyes is a doggie statesman who can tailor his charms to fit almost any situation. A relaxed snuggler, responsive walker and dog-lover extraordinaire, Pres' character is as well-rounded as his handsome figure. He'll sit on command for treats and unlike many dogs he's not the least bit fussy, eagerly snuffling up anything and everything I offer with a nice soft mouth. During our walk he does pull slightly on leash but is quite easy to handle, frequently turning back to look up at me with his signature goofy smile - yes, Pres, of course I still love you! His den is kept spotless and he 'goes' the minute we step out the door so it seems likely this good boy is house trained too. Other dogs (and even a pigeon who visits our backyard pen) are met with absolutely perfect manners and when Pres Snow is out among his beloved doggie friends, calm gentleness and soft-bodied tail wags abound. Like all successful politicians, he's an impressive orator and we share actual sit-down conversations in which I bark at him and he barks right back, it's so funny to see (and hear) that a passing volunteer stops to listen in too - these Presidential debates really do draw in the crowds! If you've been searching for a smart, chilled-out, handsome and totally unique candidate to take on the role of your new BFF-in-chief then look no further - Pres Snow is that dog! 08/24/2014 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION - EXPERIENCE Exam Type BEHAVIOR Pres Snow pulls hard on leash. So happy to go outside where he peed for what seemed like 5 minutes....I'm guessing he may be housetrained! He's friendly, spry, energetic in a quiet way, handsome, sparkly, and happy to make new friends, Pumba delighted in being off leash in a backyard pen to play. He loves tossing around toys, chasing a ball or anything else that a dog would consider having fun with his person. He sits when asked to, takes treats hungrily but easily, and was delighted to join staff when they were having lunch!! Of course a fry or two or three found the way to his mouth much to his delight! Enjoying a good ear scratch, Pumba sits by my side and then gets up to toss a toy again. His energy is appropriate for his age, and he's looking for a home in which daily exercise and playtime are part of the routine. He's hoping you'll stop by to meet him today. 08/07/2014 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION - EXPERIENCE Exam Type BEHAVIOR Pumba pulls very hard on leash and may be housetrained - toileted immediately once outside. He rushed to briefly sniff the assessor before continuing on to investigate his surroundings. Pumba was very active, distracted, and difficult to position for the handling items of the assessment; however he maintained soft body language. It required a bit of pressure for him to lift his head during the food bowl test; however he maintained soft body language. Pumba held onto the toy and rawhide with soft and wiggly body language. He rushed in quickly with forward, but soft body language during the dog-to-dog interaction. Pumba is very active and may be difficult to manage when on walks. The behavior department recommends that he go to an experienced home that is willing to consider positive reinforcement training for pulling. Look: 3 Dog jumps on the Assessor, consistently rubs his shoulder on the Assessor, and will not allow Assessor to conduct the assessment. Sensitivity: 1 Dog stands still and accepts the touch, his eyes are averted, and his tail is in neutral position with relaxed body posture. Dog's mouth is likely closed for at least a portion of the assessment item. Tag: 2 Dog is not fearful, but is unresponsive to the Assessor, and approaches the Assessor at the end of the game (may need coaxing to approach.) He is focused on stimuli other than the Assessor. Squeeze 1: 1 Dog does not respond at all for three seconds. His eyes are averted and his ears are relaxed or back. Squeeze 2: 1 Dog does not respond at all for three seconds. His eyes are averted and his ears are relaxed or back. Food: 2 Dog follows the dish with his tail down, body likely a bit stiff. Dog lifts head after a bit of pressure from hand to cheek. Toy: 1 Dog settles close, keeps a firm grip and is loose and wiggly. He does not place his body between you and the toy. Rawhide: 1 Dog settles close, keeps a firm grip and is loose and wiggly. He does not place his body between you and the rawhide. Dog-to-dog: 2 Dog approaches the helper dog, body soft, tail well above spine level, ears forward. A GORGEOUS dog, in a dark greige coat with gold threads, soulful but friendly eyes, a wagging tail, perfect weight, amazing personality and that's the beginning of Lion. He looks imposing at first, but toss a ball or a toy his way and all bets are off! He morphs into a playful puppy, happily chasing a ball, tossing it around with abandon and able to amuse himself endlessly. Of course, if a human decides to join in the fun all the better, because catching a ball on the fly is also good fun and having someone to bring it back to is even better than that! Lion settles down into a sit when asked to, takes treats gently, and showed off his housetraining skills when we first exited the building. He loves to be pet, coming in close for some loving, and then happily settles down for a good chomp on the tennis ball. Large in stature, large in personality, and large in love, Lion is waiting to find a new family to love and play with. He's so totally engaging you'll find yourself laughing at his antics and calling him in for some cuddling. Go meet our fabulous Lion today. 08/05/2014 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION - EXPERIENCE Exam Type BEHAVIOR Lion was excited but very interested in interacting with handler during assessment - jumped up. He was excited and mouthy (light) during some of the handling items, but had soft body language. Lion was distracted, focused on objects in the room rather than the handler during the tag test. He did not resist being handled while eating, and was easily pushed out of the food bowl. He took the toy and the rawhide away but had soft body language. Lion was relaxed when approaching a friendly dog, but was not playful. Lion is an active dog he need a significant amount of exercise and mental stimulation. The behavior department feels that he can go to an experience home without young children. Look: 3. Dog jumps on the Assessor, consistently rubs his shoulder on the Assessor, and will not allow Assessor to conduct the assessment. Sensitivity: 2. Dog displays high energy and movement, but it is directed toward getting closer to the Assessor. His body is soft, likely panting, may jump up between attempts to lick Assessor. Tag: 2. No 08/06/2014 WEB MEMO A volunteer writes: Tyson is such a wonderfully handsome dog that everyone he encounters smiles in appreciation. What they probably don't appreciate is the goofy and happy-go-lucky guy that lurks beneath his good looks! He's certainly a clown with his toys, chasing after thrown balls and other soft toys with a languid gait, at times attempting to stuff multiple ones in his mouth! He also loves his back rubs, showing his gratitude by leaning in close, a favorite toy still perched in his mouth. Surrendered to our care with Bella (A1008870) because of financial reasons, his former family has nothing but positive things to say about him. We're told he's friendly with strangers and children, "just loves to play" and gets along "good" with other pets outside the family. We were also told he and Bella get along "really well" and that he knows a number of commands and loves to be petted and hugged. It's obvious that Tyson was a well-loved family member as he is a fabulous walker at the park, paying attention to his handler and minding his manners as we pass other dogs on the path. What this good-looking playful youngster needs now is a new family to love and care for him - a family ready to enjoy that wonderful gift of unconditional love ( and "goofiness"!) Tyson offers. Can that be you? A volunteer writes: Tyson is a serious WOW when you first meet him. He is stunningly gorgeous in his sleek well groomed gray coat. Friendly, playful, and exuberant in everything he does you can't help but laugh along with him. He loves to play, loves affection and has great energy. If you're looking for an active dog with whom to go on long walks, enjoy lots of play time, and then snuggle up with for some hugs, you need look no further than Tyson. He's hoping you'll stop by to meet him today 08/04/2014 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION - AVERAGE Exam Type BEHAVIOR Tyson lived in his previous home for a few years with two adults and two children. His previous owners stated that he gets along with children and strangers. Tyson greeted the assessor with a soft and wiggly body. He was a little active and difficult to position for the handling items of the assessment; however he maintained soft body language. Tyson displayed playful body language during the tag item. After the tag item he mouthed the assessor's hand with moderate pressure; however he stopped immediately. Tyson then proceeded to mount the assessor and was easily distracted with the squeak of a toy. He maintained soft and wiggly body language throughout the food, toy, and rawhide tests. Tyson approached the helper dog with soft body language. When close, he averted his eyes and turned to exit the evaluation room. Tyson's previous owners reported that he has lived with dogs and that he gets along with unknown dogs. Tyson has displayed no concerning behaviors while at the care center. The behavior department recommends that he go to an active home that is willing to work on positive reinforcement training for any jumping or mouthing behavior. Look: 1 Dog leans forward or jumps up to lick the Assessor's face with tail wagging, ears back and eyes averted. Sensitivity: 2 Dog repeatedly turns toward the Assessor's hand, with loose body and open mouth, mouths the hand, but does not apply pressure. Or, dog licks hands while lips are long. Tag: 1 Dog assumes play position and joins the game. Or dog indicates play with huffing, soft 'popping' of the body, etc. Dog might jump on Assessor once play begins. Squeeze 1: 3 Dog is soft in body and eye, and moves his legs/body so that the Assessor is unable to hold the paw. Flank squeeze 1: 1 Dog does not respond at all. Flank squeeze 2: 1 Dog does not respond at all. Food: 1 Dog calmly allows the food to be moved, follows the dish, but does not interfere with the dish's movement. I was just told a "horror story" from a new client (which will remain nameless for this posting). About a year ago they hired a Consultant to redesign their well-trafficked eCommerce website. Well, after moving them to the new system, THEY IMMEDIATELY (WITHIN HOURS) LOST 80% OF THEIR WEBSITE TRAFFIC. 80% decrease in website visitors!!! The website designer told them to give it a few days, but after several weeks of literally NO SALES they had him switch them back onto their old original system. Their entire new website was USELESS because it negated the majority of their website traffic. This meant tens of thousands of dollars "down the tubes." WHAT???!!! Now, as an SEO Specialist, I am pretty sure that they failed by simply not setting up the 301 redirects properly. An easy fix really (for someone who knows how), but this was never done properly. And what's worse, their new website (which was freshly setup, before they switched back to the old version in order to save their traffic flow), GOT HACKED! Yes. Hacked within the first 2 days. WHAT???!!! (No credit card data was taken during the hack, but still... Hacked within 48 hours of these overseas programmers setting up their new site! I think there is a connection.) SO WHY AM I TELLING YOU ALL OF THIS? Well, the US-based Consultant that they used for this Website Redesign was using the services of an overseas programming firm. (No offense to non-English speakers, but I have heard SEVERAL such stories over the past few years.) These overseas non-English speaking programming firms seem to cause a LOT of trouble when they are used. However, because these programmers work for just a couple bucks an hour (like $3 to $9 per hour) as opposed to what a US-based programmer would require ($25 to $150 per hour depending upon complexity), MANY COMPANIES CONTINUE TO GET DUPED INTO USING THESE OVERSEAS PROGRAMMING SERVICES DUE TO THE FALSE PROMISE THAT IT WILL SAVE THEM MONEY. The problem is, it DOES NOT SAVE THEM MONEY, as in the long-run (and even the short-term as seen in this story), these overseas programmers wreck havoc on the projects they are programming. THE SOLUTION: Only use US-based Programmers and Consultants who do NOT ship the programming work overseas to non-English speaking programming firms! Lesson learned. It is wise to remember the old adage: "You GET what you PAY for."
